Eats Lately

I shared my typical, weekly grocery haul from Trader Joe’s on Monday (you can read HERE), so today I wanted to tell you some things I eat in a typical week! Trader Joe’s Haul

Happy Monday!  Did everyone have a nice weekend??  Ours was super relaxing.  We watched some Netflix (we are watching The Killing right now), grilled out with some friends, gave our pups baths, and spent Sunday biking and brunching.  The weather was gorgeous here this weekend! Vegan Update: Week 3

Happy Monday!!  First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who donated to my fundraiser for the Sherry Spin-Along.  Sherry is a personal friend of mine and I truly believe that these dollars go towards saving her life and others, so it is very close to my heart.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU.  I was overwhelmed by the number of people who donated.  Because of you I was the number one fundraiser (if you don’t count Martin and Sherry, which I don’t LOL)! Vegan Update: Week 2

Happy Monday!  We are almost halfway through a month of vegan and we’re still here and still vegan!  Here’s our weekly update on what we’ve been eating and how we’re feeling. I would say around day 10 was the first time I didn’t want to eat a vegan meal.  I wasn’t craving anything specific like pizza or queso…I just didn’t want another salad.  But I have found with eating in general…once you start, you’ll end up satisfied.  So I had quinoa, refried beans, and some sautéed veggies and it was fine!  I am hovering around 5-6 pounds lost which is great for me.  I don’t have a lot of weight to lose; I just want to take off what I […]
