Favs from Boem

Happy Monday!!  I’m in Hawaii for the week (I’m lucky to have a friend who lives there).  I’m SO excited for a week of sun, sand, shopping, eating and….not much else!  I’m on Oahu, so if have any recommendations, email me (megan@shopboem.com).  I’m staying with my friend in Kailua and then we are heading up to the North Shore to stay at the Turtle Bay resort for a few days. Most of you know my day job is owning a store, Boem.  It will be 10 years this December since I opened the store, and I’m so proud that May was our best month EVER!  Part of that is because the styles this spring are just so dang cute.  I […]

Black On Black

Happy Monday!  Did everyone have a nice weekend??  Mine was perfectly low-key, just how I like it.  It’s SUPER rainy here today, so I’m happy to have a work-from-home day! I am so excited to share this outfit with you.  Not only is it super cute and sophisticated-looking, but it’s also really comfortable!  I fell in love with this top, and it’s exactly the kind of top I need to go with all of my skirts and pants this spring.  I know it looks tiny and cropped, but when you put it with super high-waisted bottoms it’s perfect.  And it’s only $38….holler!  If I buy a skirt or pair of pants and need a top, Free People is my first […]

I also learned that sticking to a diet while traveling is hard; WAY harder than I thought.  Next time I will be more prepared with snacks and food!  At market everyone is serving wine and cookies and snacks and margaritas and pasta, etc.  There is not much healthy […]

Rails Ellie Romper

Happy Friday!  TGIF, right??  I’ve actually had a pretty low key week work-wise, which has been nice.  It’s Spring Break this week for the public schools, so that means the store slows down.  I am also in between buying (I go to market again next week), so I’ve had a little break from that.  I honestly love that about retail; it is very cyclical, so it will be crazy for a while and then slow down.  I don’t mind grinding it out, and then I love getting a break.  We have a pretty chill weekend planned, and then I am off to Atlanta again on Monday for market for 4 days.  I am finishing up buying some lines for fall, […]
