Swimwear Round-Up

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered some new swimwear!  I had been looking and looking and really not loving any bathing suits that I saw.  Until I got on Free People, and found a TON that I love! I have pretty specific requirements for a bikini, and I’m not the easiest shape to fit.  I have bigger boobs and am pretty curvy on the bottom.  Despite that, I prefer a skimpier bikini and I don’t like anything that ties around my neck.  I am typically a medium across the board in all swimwear, so that’s what I ordered in everything listed below. My Fitness Journey

Alo Yoga Bra // Leggings Happy Friday!  I thought you might enjoy reading about my fitness journey, my current fitness routine, and my general thoughts on fitness. Vegan Update: Week 4

Oatmeal with granola, almond butter, and banana. Happy Monday!  We are OFFICIALLY in the homestretch of our 30 day vegan diet!!  I am actually having my first non-vegan meal on Wednesday night (the 30th day) because I am going out for a birthday dinner and I’ll be honest: I’m just not going out again and eating vegan!  I went out with a girlfriend last week who was in town visiting.  She wanted to try a new restaurant, Zeppelin.  I was eager to try it, too!  They are known for having great cocktails and interesting small plates.  Well, it turned out I was getting my eyebrows done the next day (permanent makeup), so I couldn’t drink alcohol.  To make matters worse, […]

Vegan Update: Week 2

Happy Monday!  We are almost halfway through a month of vegan and we’re still here and still vegan!  Here’s our weekly update on what we’ve been eating and how we’re feeling. I would say around day 10 was the first time I didn’t want to eat a vegan meal.  I wasn’t craving anything specific like pizza or queso…I just didn’t want another salad.  But I have found with eating in general…once you start, you’ll end up satisfied.  So I had quinoa, refried beans, and some sautéed veggies and it was fine!  I am hovering around 5-6 pounds lost which is great for me.  I don’t have a lot of weight to lose; I just want to take off what I […]
