Eats Lately

I shared my typical, weekly grocery haul from Trader Joe’s on Monday (you can read HERE), so today I wanted to tell you some things I eat in a typical week! You may have read my post a few weeks ago that I am doing a macro-tracking diet called Stronger U (you can read about that HERE), so I don’t usually make recipes, but instead I cook a lot of different things separately that I can build into meals (and easily track my macros).  I will update you soon on how the diet is going (in short, I’m obsessed).  Today I’m going to share some things I eat regularly.  I definitely tend to eat the same few things over and over!  […]

My Favorite Charlotte Restaurants

Patio at Foxcroft Wine Co.  Image via AmericasCuisine.com. Happy Friday!  I had a request a while back to round up my favorite places to eat in Charlotte, so here they are, just in time for the weekend.  I LOVE food (too much), so this was a fun one to write and made me really hungry!  I honestly complain about the food scene in Charlotte, but after writing this list, it made me realize we have some pretty legit restaurants.  I definitely tend to stick with what I know, and all of these below are in the rotation.  Lance and I also make a list of new places to try each year, so I have listed those below as well. Our Trip to Iceland

I am SO excited to share our adventure in Iceland with you! Lance and I have traveled a ton, and I can honestly say that Iceland was like nowhere else we have ever been.  It truly is spectacular.  The people are friendly, the capital city Reykjavík is quaint, walkable, and adorable, the food is delicious, and the landscape of Iceland is like nothing I have ever seen.  I am SO glad that we went in the winter.  Even though the days are shorter, I loved that it snowed on and off the whole time we were there and everything was covered in a blanket of white.  They have 24 hours of daylight in the summer, so I would love to […]
