Andaz Maui Review + Misa Floral Dress

I’m home from 17 days in Hawaii!!  Really 16 days because you lose a day coming home.  Coming back to the east coast from Hawaii is crazy!  Our flight left Maui at 5:30 PM and by the time we landed in Charlotte at 10:45 AM, it was 4:45 AM in Hawaii.  So unless you can sleep on a plane (which neither of us can), you lose a night of sleep.  We got home at noon and went right to bed.  I have been feeling pretty good since, so here’s hoping the jet lag won’t be too bad. I wanted to tell you about our hotel in Maui because it was seriously incredible.  We stayed at the Andaz Maui at Wailea […]

Red Paisley Bodysuit

It’s another great piece from Band of Gypsies!  Band of Gypsies is a small line, but they have super cute styles that are reasonably priced.  I love this bodysuit concept because it looks like a loosely tucked-in blouse.  There is a snap at the bust to keep you covered, which is SO nice!  I have some shirts that don’t have that, and I’ll look down and my whole bra will be hanging out!  I love it paired with high-waisted jean shorts, but they also make a matching wrap maxi skirt that would make the cutest outfit.  I will link it all below! I can’t believe it’s Friday already!  I’m leaving Hawaii today…sad day!  But I am always happy to get […]

Blue Life Romper

Hi from Hawaii!  If I ever go somewhere tropical, there is always some Blue Life in my suitcase.  It packs well (and looks fine a little wrinkled) and best of all, is super lightweight for hot temps.  This looks like a tank and shorts, but it’s just one piece.  And because it’s strapless, going to the bathroom is a breeze.  Blue Life is killing it again with easy, breezy, comfortable, and cute.  I love the pop of turquoise (with my favorite Baublebar tassel earrings) and keeping the rest of the outfit monochromatic with the tonal bag and wedges.  Shop the whole outfit below! Red Paisley Maxi

Happy (almost) Fourth of July!!  I’m still in Hawaii (for the rest of this week) and exploring Maui now.  I LOVE Hawaii SO much!  I will tell you, it’s hard to just lay by the beach or pool here.  There is just too much to see and do.  We are visiting the towns of Pa’ia and Makawao, hiking the Pipiwai Trail, having dinner at Mama’s Fish House, driving the Road to Hana, and we are considering attempting to hike to the crater of Haleakala, but y’all, I’m nervous!  It’s a 12 mile hike and apparently the temps up there are in the 30s and 40s.  Crazy.  Stay tuned, I’ll let you know if that ends up happening.  If anyone has […]
