My Final PMU Brows

Happy Friday!  I wanted to give you an update on my PMU brows with B Shea Vanity.  I shared my full experience HERE.  You can read all about how long it lasts, if it hurt, how long it takes to heal, etc. in that post.  Now that my brows have completely healed, I can share my final thoughts with you! First of all, the number one thing I can say is that it’s worth every single penny.  To wake up every day with brows and come out of hot yoga with full eyebrows is totally priceless (as someone who doesn’t have them naturally).  I’m saving time (and money) by not having to fill them in or get them tinted.  Blakeley […]

House Update

Image via Pinterest.  Kinda, sorta what our house might look like someday. Happy Monday!  It’s been almost a month since I have shared a house update and a lot has happened!  Well, a lot has happened and nothing has happened.  Building a house is a long, unexpected road, y’all!  Let me explain… In my last house update (HERE), I shared our plans with you and that they were at the city getting the permit so we could start the work.  Well, that was a month ago…and still nothing has been done on the house.  We were thrown a pretty big curveball that set us back quite a bit, and honestly had us wondering if we were even going to move […]

A couple life updates… I’m still going strong on the […]

Let’s Talk About Money Honey

I don’t know why I want to talk about this subject.  Maybe it’s because no one ever taught me about money, so I figure some of you might be in the same boat.  Maybe it’s because it’s so faux-pas to talk about money and they say that plays into women making less in the workplace.  Maybe it’s because most articles you’ll find about money are written by men in finance and are hard to relate to.  Whatever the reason, you don’t learn about money management in school, so unless your parents teach you, you’re kind of screwed.  I was pretty poor after college (my first job out of college I made $10 an hour as a 1099 employee and when […]
