I can’t even tell you how many diets my mom has tried over the years, but I feel like every month or so for my entire life it was always something new.  You know how you always say you won’t turn out like your mom and then you do?  Well, this was one of those things.  I wasn’t going to always try new diets.  And then….I became adult, and (in this aspect) I became my mother. My Favorite Charlotte Restaurants

This past weekend, we entered a chili cook off contest.  Correction: Lance entered us (read: me) into the contest.  Friends of ours were putting it on for charity, and if you read my New Year’s post, you saw that my number one goal this coming year is to give back more.  So even though I was out of town all week, and I’ve never cooked anything in bulk before in my life…we entered a chili cook off LOL. Vegan Update: Week 4

Oatmeal with granola, almond butter, and banana.
