My Favorite Spring Sweater

Happy Friday!  Have you had a good week??  I was at market in Atlanta finishing up my fall buy.  I don’t know if I have mentioned it before, but I don’t love the styles coming out for fall.  I LOVE this spring, but fall is VERY 70’s (think rust, mustard, stripes, wide wale corduroy, etc.) and I’m not into it!  There are tons of cute sweaters though, so I’m excited about that. I also learned that sticking to a diet while traveling is hard; WAY harder than I thought.  Next time I will be more prepared with snacks and food!  At market everyone is serving wine and cookies and snacks and margaritas and pasta, etc.  There is not much healthy […]

One Shirt, Two Ways

Happy Monday!  Did everyone have a good weekend?  Mine was SO low key, I loved it.  The older I get, the more of a homebody and less social I become.  There is not much I love more than just chilling at home in my sweats with a glass of wine (and probably a puzzle) #thisis37.  I literally didn’t leave the house on Saturday!  I did super boring stuff like cleaned out my bathroom drawers, the pantry (we had cans of soda that expired in 2014 lol), and switched my closet from fall to spring (which always turns into purging, so I’m taking another load of stuff to JT Posh soon!). A couple life updates… I’m still going strong on the […]

Rails Ellie Romper

Happy Friday!  TGIF, right??  I’ve actually had a pretty low key week work-wise, which has been nice.  It’s Spring Break this week for the public schools, so that means the store slows down.  I am also in between buying (I go to market again next week), so I’ve had a little break from that.  I honestly love that about retail; it is very cyclical, so it will be crazy for a while and then slow down.  I don’t mind grinding it out, and then I love getting a break.  We have a pretty chill weekend planned, and then I am off to Atlanta again on Monday for market for 4 days.  I am finishing up buying some lines for fall, […]
