Rails Ellie Romper
Happy Friday! TGIF, right?? I’ve actually had a pretty low key week work-wise, which has been nice. It’s Spring Break this week for the public schools, so that means the store slows down. I am also in between buying (I go to market again next week), so I’ve had a little break from that. I honestly love that about retail; it is very cyclical, so it will be crazy for a while and then slow down. I don’t mind grinding it out, and then I love getting a break. We have a pretty chill weekend planned, and then I am off to Atlanta again on Monday for market for 4 days. I am finishing up buying some lines for fall, starting to look at a few holiday deliveries, and restocking our current jewelry and accessories. It’s always nice to have a change of pace and get away for a few days!
I am so glad that we are finally getting some warm weather here! It makes me SO happy because I have been collecting cute clothes for months that I can finally wear. Anyone else in the same boat??
I don’t know about y’all, but I love a romper. I like the ease of wearing shorts, and since I am shorter (5’5″) I typically like the length of a romper. Let me tell you all the reasons I love this romper. First of all, it’s bra-friendly, which is a plus in my book. The little ruffle sleeves are so cute, and I always love navy. It’s dark enough to be a transition color going into spring or fall, but it’s perfect to wear throughout the summer. I also feel like it’s easier to dress up for a night out. This little floral print is adorable. And my favorite part: it’s SUPER comfortable. Pretty much a requirement for anything I wear!
If you’re looking for an easy sandal for the spring, this $30 slide is it! It comes in a bunch of colors (I’m wearing the tan suede) and the footbed is padded, so it’s really comfortable. It’s such an easy shoe to throw on and go and you can’t beat the price.
