Recent Make Up Finds

Happy Monday!!!  I KNOW that we technically gain an hour with this daylight savings time thing, but man, I am TIRED!  It definitely just throws me off with it getting dark so early…it was 7:30 last night, and I could have sworn it was 10 PM.  Anyone else??

I have some new recent beauty finds I want to share with you!  Actually, a few I received as samples at an event at Woo Skincare and Cosmetics, but I will be purchasing or putting them on my Christmas list (which will be coming soon in a blog post!).  A few others I was able to try on my girls trip to Napa…I love trying other’s products when I am traveling with friends!

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

I actually tried this when I was traveling with another girlfriend and just picked it from Sephora when I was out in San Francisco.  I don’t know about you, but I love the ritual before going to bed of washing my face, brushing my teeth, and then putting on all my creams.  It always feels so luxurious at the end of the day and a little spa retreat no matter what kind of day I have had.  I keep this lip mask on my nightstand and put it on before I go to sleep.  My lips are super hydrated in the morning and I love the berry smell!

La Mer The Eye Concentrate

I received this as a sample from Woo, and I am obsessed.  I actually needed an eye cream, so the timing was perfect.  Now I am not one to just love anything that’s expensive.  I have tried plenty of expensive products that I thought were just eh.  But this….this is incredible.  It’s going on my gift guide because what a perfect thing to ask for for Christmas!

Chantecaille Detox Clay Mask

I love a mask.  It goes back to the relaxing, luxurious nighttime ritual.  This was also a sample I received, but I’m going back for the full size.  My friend at Woo says it lasts a LONG time, so you definitely get your money’s worth.  I used this after I came home from Napa and I was looking ROUGH.  Days of wine (and little water) and the long flights definitely took a toll on my skin.  I put this mask on when I got home, and I swear I was like a new person!!  My skin looked INCREDIBLE afterwards.

Milk Makeup Highlighter

This is another thing I tried over at a friend’s house and had to have.  I love the convenience of just swiping it on your cheekbones.  It isn’t too gold and it isn’t too white.  It’s the perfect natural highlighter.

St. Tropez Everyday Tinted Body Lotion

Every beauty round up I do has some kind of self tanner.  But I love them!  I have actually had this one for a while and didn’t think I liked it, but I tried it again last week and decided that I really like it!  It is actually tinted, so it gives you immediate color.  And I wouldn’t say it gives you super intense color once you wash it off, but it is a gradual, everyday lotion.  There have been a few times the past couple weeks I have worn a skirt and been SO pale, so this is a nice, easy, quick fix as I’m running out the door.

Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara

Mascara is a real struggle for me.  I have watery eyes I guess, so nothing seems to stay on.  And if it does stay on, it doesn’t do much for my lashes.  This is the best of both worlds.  It boasts 24-hour wear and gives a major boost in length and thickness to my lashes.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation

Two of my girlfriends on the Napa trip wear this daily, so I used it a couple days.  I really struggle with foundation and tinted moisturizer staying on all day.  This stayed on ALL day, plus I didn’t even need powder with it!  It is seriously amazing and has a great matte finish.

So that is what I have found lately!  Let me know if there is anything I need to try, I am always on the hunt for new beauty products.  Does anyone else have a beauty addiction like me??  Have a great Monday, thanks for reading!
