Mother’s Day Gift Guide
Mother’s Day is less than a week away! I have rounded up some of my personal favorite things that I think would make great Mother’s Day gifts, with prices ranging from $15-$110!
How cute is this bowl? It’s microwave and dishwasher safe and the perfect medium size. The black and white will go with almost anything. I have it out on my counter with lemons in it and it looks so cute! Plus, it’s on sale!
I have these and love them. They are shatterproof plastic wine glasses and they have a thumb notch to make them easy to hold onto. Great if you have kids or are walking the dogs. What, you don’t drink wine while you walk your dogs? Now you can. These are perfect with summer and cookouts right around the corner. And they are dishwasher safe!
The number one thing that I think makes a great gift is something you wouldn’t buy for yourself. Most people wouldn’t want to spend $18 on nail polish, but these are definitely elevated polishes. In addition to giving days of chip-free wear, it dries fast and is also free of dibutyl phthalate, toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, and triphenyl phosphate (I don’t know what those things are but they sound scary). I especially love the metallic rose gold color 1972.
A friend was staying with me and would put this on in the morning and I could smell it from my room. It is the freshest scent and very lightweight but still moisturizing. It goes on smooth and isn’t sticky at all. And who couldn’t use some more lotion in their lives?
This is my go-to daily lipstick. It’s kind of a hybrid between lipstick and lip balm. It has SPF 15 and goes on like a lip balm would (very moisturizing), but if you buy a color, it will give you as much color as a lipstick would.
I love a great Turkish hand towel. Hand towels are something everyone uses and usually don’t give much thought to, so getting a nice one is such a treat. Gwyneth Paltrow likes this one, what more do you need to know??
I have several sizes of these and have given them as gifts. I actually gave one to my mom (who is VERY hard to shop for) and she didn’t seem too excited, but ended up loving it. It seriously keeps liquid cold for 24 hours, even in a hot car. Oh, and did you catch on my weekly round up that a large S’well holds an entire bottle of wine??
Yes, it’s expensive for hand soap. But these are the things people will love that they wouldn’t necessarily buy for themselves! I love the look of this packaging and it smells great.
I love these candles and give them as gifts often. Yes, $60 is a lot for a candle. But they smell great and the packaging is gorgeous. When I am done burning one, I clean it out and use it to store things (like my make up brushes in my bathroom).
I know. It’s A LOT for a room diffuser. But I had to put this on my list because my mom comments on how nice my house smells every time she walks in. Someone gave this to me as a gift, and I have it in our entryway and it just smells SO GOOD. Again, it’s something I’m not likely to buy for myself, so what a treat to get as a gift! And Mom is worth it, right??
Someone gave me some Eberjey pajamas and let me say, they are super luxurious. Most people won’t splurge on sleepwear for themselves, so it makes a great gift.
Happy early Mother’s Day to all you moms out there doing (in my opinion) the hardest job in the world!
