My Favorite Jeans
I have never been one of those people to buy multiples of the same thing. You know those people. They love a shirt and buy it in all 5 colors. That was not me. Until I found these jeans:
I have bought these jeans in FOUR WASHES. Yep. I just keep buying them. Let me count the ways I love these jeans:
1.The price. Under $100, gotta love that.
2. The rise. It’s a high rise, and hits at the perfect place to hide all the squishy places. Plus, I love tucking a shirt in.
3. The pocket placement and size. Most people don’t think about this, but it’s one of the most important aspects when choosing a flattering jean (IMO). These pockets are lower (but not too low) and bigger (nothing is worse for a round booty than a small pocket). Especially on a high-waist jean it is tough to find the right pocket placement…more often than not, they are too high.
4. The inseam. I’m 5’5” and these jeans hit right at my ankle (I wear the 30 inch inseam). Not that I mind hemming jeans, but typically what happens is they end up a little too loose at the ankles. These are perfect.
5. I can never find a jean that fits my big thighs and my waist…the waist is always too big. But these are perfect!
So all that being said, I’ve yet to try on another pair of jeans that I love as much so I just KEEP BUYING MORE. Important info on sizing: I am normally a 26 in jeans. I will wear a 27 at times if it’s a rigid denim. I have a 28 in these jeans, and they are perfect.
Here are the washes I own:
The tops I am wearing in this post are two of my absolute favs! They are both the perfect cropped length to wear with high-waist jeans. The tee is SO SOFT, I promise you will live in it. It’s very thick and not sheer at all. I am wearing a small in both.
I’m thinking this white ripped pair could be cute for Spring:
I also recently bought Topshop’s faux leather moto jacket and I just saw that it is on sale! I got a 4 in this jacket. It really is the perfect moto jacket…it has JUST the right amount of detail!
