Weekly Round Up
Happy Friday babes!! Who’s excited for the weekend?!? ME. Lance is home from back to back work trips and we have a charity and wine event tonight called Big Bottles and Blues that should be a lot of fun. Saturday I am working the Girl Tribe Pop Up at Sugar Creek Brewery…ya’ll it is SO FUN. If you are local to Charlotte, you should come out! Boem will be there with a booth, along with SO many other retailers. It’s awesome to shop everything all in one place…I always end up spending a lot of money…lol. Grab your girlfriends and a beer and just shop, shop, shop! Here is the info:
I thought it would be fun to round up of some of this week’s Instagram Story pics with links. So here we go!
I have a few of these Too Faced Melted Matte lipsticks and I love them! They stay on well and go on easily (I feel like a lot of matte lipsticks are hard to apply). I really like this color for Spring and thought it photographed really well.
I love Nike. I have tried on other brands, but always seem to go back to them. This is my newest pair that I use for training and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. First of all, how cute are they?! And really comfortable, too. They wouldn’t be good for running, but are perfect for lifting.
I love to buy cool workout clothes, I feel like it motivates me to work out! We are carrying Koral at Boem now (in-store only), so if you are here in Charlotte you’ll have to come check it out! And even though it may not look like it, this bra is actually pretty supportive. Maybe not running, but I don’t do that anyway LOL.
If you don’t have this brush, YOU NEED IT. Trust me. I even keep a mini one in my purse because ya’ll, my hair gets so flat. It’s very gentle on your hair, which is awesome since I brush mine a lot.
I mean, how cute is this bowl?? I ended up leaving it out on my countertop just like that with the lemons in it. It’s also microwave and dishwasher safe, which will make it a breeze for entertaining.
I love this bra! It’s super supportive and really cute, too. I love how it looks with high-waisted leggings.
This was my first color of Too Faced matte lipstick and I still love it. I mean, it’s called Queen B, need I say more?!
I got a lot of questions about my hair, and I will do a full hair tutorial soon. But here is the curling iron I use, it is a 1 inch wand. And it’s nothing fancy, but it does the job! I also run a straightener over my ends because my hair is naturally curly and I like them nice and flat. I linked the hairspray I finish with, it’s the perfect light hold hairspray and smells great.
My sweet Dolce Vita shoe rep gifted me these shoes and I love the combo of black + studs. They are also relatively comfortable for a heel (I am a heel hater, too). I definitely love them for a night out.
So what do ya’ll think of the ‘mom jean’ trend??? Most people I talk to are not into it lol! I’m into it, even though I agree that’s it’s not the most flattering trend I have ever seen. I do LOVE a high-waist jean though, let me tell you. Just keeps it all in place, ya know what I mean?? I have an absolute FAVORITE high-waist jean that I will share with you next week (I own it in 4 washes, it’s that good)! I’m wearing a 26 in these jeans and they were tight at first (they are 100% cotton), but they fit great after wearing for a little while.
I have also gotten some questions on my diet, which I’ll do a full post on soon. But I do measure pretty much everything I eat at home because it just keeps me on track. I am not overly obsessive with food, I drink wine and eat out pretty regularly, but I do like to control my portions when I can.
So there you go, girls! I’m having fun posting to stories, so follow along if you aren’t already! @missorrell
