New Dining Room Design

Happy Friday!  We finally have a foundation for the new house!  And some framing!  It’s actually happening, I can’t believe it. One of the things I learned the first time around with building a house is that it’s really important to make and finalize decisions and get them off your plate as soon as you can because the decisions are endless.  I wanted to go ahead and get our furniture planned and ordered so that it’s done by the time we move.  I enlisted the help of Maggie, owner of Crandall Haus.  I am very particular and have a distinct vision…I know what I want, but once I try to start sourcing everything and putting it together, I get super […]

Labor Day Sales

Happy Friday!  There are some great Labor Day sales this weekend, so I wanted to share what I’m buying!  Click on any image to shop. Lulu & Georgia has up to 25% off with the code LONGWKND.  It’s such a great time to pull the trigger on some big ticket items!  Here is what I’m eyeing. We are replacing all the rugs in our house and the new house is all hardwoods, so we’re going to need even more rugs.  I love this one for either our living or dining.  It seriously looks like a true vintage Moroccan rug and is worth the splurge. I’m going to balance the purchase of that rug with this rug!  It looks great and is […]
